Shipping giants urge UN to block Iran’s tolls in Strait of Hormuz

Recent tensions in the region, particularly the Iran-U.S. conflict over Hormuz, have already seen some shipping traffic rerouted or constrained. Iran’s enforcement capabilities, facilitated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, have demonstrated control over transit within the strait, further complicating the situation.
