Sazmining, a mining-as-a-service provider based in Wyoming, began selling Proto immersion mining boards designed by Block directly to individuals on October 16, 2026. Each unit delivers approximately 204 TH/s at an efficiency of 15 J/TH and draws about 3,060 watts, with pricing starting at $4,187 or $3,978 when paid for in cryptocurrency. Zero-interest financing requires a $1,397 down payment followed by 18 monthly installments of $155, while Sazmining charges a 15% management fee on the Bitcoin produced and passes electricity through at approximately $0.063 per kWh. Under current assumptions, the payback period could exceed six years and lengthen further after the next Bitcoin halving, even as the network hashrate rebounded to 1,076 EH/s and mining difficulty reached 148.36 T.
