Robinhood adds $25M in Bitcoin to balance sheet, calls it ‘asset diversification’

Fintech platform Robinhood has added $25 million in Bitcoin to its balance sheet, marking its first acquisition separate from user funds. Johann Kerbrat, SVP and GM at Robinhood, stated that this move represented a strategic asset diversification aligned with the firm’s vision for the future of crypto. Robinhood becomes the 199th publicly traded company to adopt Bitcoin as Treasury, joining a group led by Strategy that holds 1.279 million BTC worth approximately $105 billion. Additionally, Robinhood Chain surpassed $1 billion in total value locked in just three months, with record monthly revenues of $32.3 million in September 2026. Wall Street analysts remain optimistic with a consensus target of $133 for the stock, currently trading at $109.5.
