David Schwartz, XRP Ledger chief architect and former Ripple CTO, released operational metrics for his private hub following the July 31 crisis. The XRPL network was hit by a manifest storm attack, with thousands of fake node credentials overwhelming the system and causing widespread connection failures on Schwartz’s hub. An emergency hotfix, xrpld 3.2.1, was deployed to limit manifest sizes and rework data caching. New data covering August 25 to September 8 shows the hub maintaining around 400 simultaneous connections with 165 milliseconds latency, and malicious activity falling to near zero. This publication confirms that XRPL’s infrastructure has fully recovered and is ready for stable long-term operation.
