Ripple announced a partnership with European digital asset infrastructure company SettleMint. The two firms will combine their respective solutions, Ripple Custody and SettleMint’s Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform (DALP), to provide financial institutions with a unified infrastructure for managing the entire digital asset lifecycle. This integration aims to simplify operations for banks and other institutions by eliminating the need to stitch together multiple solutions from different vendors. Ripple Custody will handle secure holding and governance of digital assets, while SettleMint’s DALP will manage issuance, compliance, permissioning, settlement, and servicing of tokenized assets. The goal is also to reduce potential reconciliation gaps as digital asset programs move from testing into production.
