Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, outlined the next stage of XRP Ledger development, including native credit infrastructure and on-chain yield tools for institutional capital. The Evernorth Holdings fund, listed on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN and to which Ripple allocated 127 million XRP tokens, aims to deploy products capable of making liquidity work. The Doppler Finance platform has already accumulated $150 million from 14,000 depositors, with $125 million in the XRP vault. Two technical updates, XLS-65 and XLS-66, are currently being voted on by validators, with 50 to 55% support for XLS-66 as of mid-October 2026, while an 80% threshold is required for activation. Institutional lenders including Evernorth, Doppler, Clearpool, and Cicada plan to launch native lending services in Q4 2026.
