Revolut says customer KYC, Bitcoin transaction data exposed after fake request from gov’t domain

Fintech company Revolut has disclosed a data breach that exposed customers’ KYC information as well as their Bitcoin transaction history. The incident occurred after a fake request was sent to the company from a domain impersonating a government entity. Onchain investigator ZachXBT suggested that high-net-worth users may have been specifically targeted. The number of affected customers has not been disclosed.
