RedotPay has delayed its US initial public offering as the Hong Kong-based company seeks regulatory approvals and contends with a legal dispute involving Binance. The company nonetheless secured a US money transmitter license this week, positioning it to launch its services in the country. The Binance lawsuit seeks nearly 473 million dollars in damages, with the exchange’s affiliates alleging that RedotPay’s founders used confidential information to build a competing payments business. Reports in February indicated RedotPay was considering a listing that could raise more than one billion dollars, with a targeted valuation exceeding four billion dollars.
