Rayo Vallecano is in advanced negotiations to sign Albanian center-back Marash Kumbulla, 26 years old, on loan from AS Roma. His market value is estimated at approximately 3 million euros according to Transfermarkt. Roma, who acquired the player from Hellas Verona in 2021, is looking to reduce its financial burden while his contract runs through June 2028. Kumbulla already has La Liga experience after spending the 2025-2026 season on loan at RCD Mallorca, who did not exercise their purchase option. No final agreement or medical examination has been confirmed as of early August.
