Polymarket has unveiled Protocol V2, a new core architecture that will replace the Gnosis Conditional Tokens Framework it has used since 2019. Starting November 2, all new markets will run on this unified and modular system. The collateral model will be limited to pUSD as the sole accepted asset, and outcome shares will be consolidated into a single ERC-1155 token contract. The protocol also introduces a pluggable oracle system supporting providers like UMA and Chainlink, offering greater flexibility in choosing resolution sources. On the security front, six firms audited the protocol and a bug bounty program offers up to $5 million for critical vulnerabilities.
