This repeats the 2024 strategy when Fairshake spent nearly $40 million to elect Republican Bernie Moreno instead of Brown, who was then chairman of the Senate Banking Committee. The group still has just over $90 million in reserves after this commitment. Elizabeth Warren is also mentioned as a potential threat to the crypto sector if Democrats take the chamber and she chairs the banking committee. According to Polymarket odds as of September 22, Brown had approximately a 55% chance of winning.
