Polish authorities dismantled a money-laundering network that moved more than 337 million zloty, worth nearly 80 million euros, originating from cryptocurrency investment scams. The group concealed the source of the funds through currency exchanges, cash transactions and fake gold purchases recorded on invoices but never delivered. Nine people, mainly Ukrainian nationals, were arrested, including seven placed in pretrial detention and two subjected to travel restrictions. The searches yielded more than 1 million zloty in gold and cash, along with computers and phones, while the suspects face up to 15 years in prison.
