Palo Alto Networks announced on September 1, 2026 the acquisition of Console, an artificial intelligence platform specialized in natural-language workflows for security operations. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Console’s technology will be integrated into Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex platform, enabling security teams to interact with their tools using plain language instead of complex query languages. This acquisition is part of an aggressive 2026 buying spree that notably includes CyberArk for $25 billion in February and Chronosphere for approximately $3.35 billion in January. The overall goal targets $20 billion in Next-Generation Security Annual Recurring Revenue by fiscal year 2030.
