Optimism’s Superchain interoperability functionality has been deployed on the Sepolia testnet, providing developers with an environment to test native messaging between L2 chains built on the OP Stack. This is not mainnet, but it represents a significant step toward connecting the various networks within the Superchain ecosystem. Developers can now test message behavior, contract interactions, latency, and edge cases before any production deployment. Mainnet deployment will require additional testing, audits, and complete validation before going live.
