OneKey terminated its distribution agreement with CryptoBilis, a Southeast Asian reseller, on October 12, 2026, and is offering free replacement devices to anyone who purchased a OneKey wallet through that channel between March 1 and October 12, 2026. The decision comes after serious allegations that tampered Ledger devices sold by CryptoBilis were linked to crypto thefts estimated between $86 million and $93.2 million. Ledger confirmed that unauthorized implants were found in devices sold through CryptoBilis, while emphasizing that its direct sales channels were not affected. OneKey states that none of its own users have reported losing funds, but is urging affected buyers to treat their recovery phrase as potentially compromised and migrate assets to a freshly generated wallet. The company has also paused new reseller onboarding while it audits existing distribution partners.
