Oil prices fall as Trump seeks Iran nuclear deal

Oil prices have declined after former President Donald Trump announced efforts to negotiate a nuclear deal with Iran. Brent crude stands at $83.82 per barrel while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is at $80.95, following a 4% drop in the previous session. This development reflects reduced geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, which could ease supply-risk concerns and lower crude prices. The probability of crude oil reaching a new all-time high by September 30 has dropped to 3.9%.
