The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Blockchain.com signed a memorandum of understanding to explore giving the crypto platform’s users access to NYSE’s planned 24/7 market for tokenized US stocks and ETFs. The deal adds another crypto-native distribution channel as Citi estimates tokenized assets could reach $5.5 trillion by 2030, up from roughly $17 billion today. Blockchain.com claims more than 44 million verified accounts and already distributes tokenized US equities through a partnership with Ondo Finance. The trading link remains subject to regulatory approval, with launch timing and available securities still unresolved. NYSE unveiled its digital platform in January with plans for round-the-clock trading, fractional orders and immediate on-chain settlement.
