Nvidia and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) have announced a partnership to develop sovereign AI and hybrid cloud frameworks for European public service media. The agreement, reached on June 11, 2025, at Nvidia GTC Paris during VivaTech, covers a network of over 110 member organizations across more than 50 countries reaching more than 1 billion people. Nvidia will provide its technologies including the GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip, Holoscan for Media software, and DGX Cloud, while the EBU will integrate its Dynamic Media Facility and Media eXchange Layer architectures. This initiative responds to calls from the EBU Technical Assembly for resilient, sustainable, and interoperable cloud and AI infrastructure. For smaller member organizations, this shared framework could provide easier access to tools they would struggle to build on their own.
