Dell stock surged roughly 350% in 2026, making Michael Dell the world’s third richest person with a fortune of $276.5 billion according to Forbes. Nvidia generated $96.2 billion in revenue last quarter and kept 75 cents of every dollar earned, compared to Dell’s $47 billion and 21 cents despite a doubling of AI server sales. Jensen Huang, Nvidia’s founder, owns about 3% of the company and is worth $189.1 billion, $87 billion less than Michael Dell who holds roughly 40% of Dell. In 2013, Michael Dell took the company private at $13.88 per share with backing from private equity firm Silver Lake. Dell now leads Jeff Bezos by about $3 billion.
