Huang is betting on a boom in skilled trades, with massive demand for plumbers, electricians, and technicians earning six-figure salaries. Nvidia has committed up to $105 billion for a new OpenAI data center in Piketon, Ohio, where some power generation manager positions offer salaries of $140,000 to $170,000. However, approximately 2.1 million skilled trade jobs could remain unfilled in the United States by 2030.
