Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang reaffirmed on September 10, 2026 at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference his forecast that global AI infrastructure spending will reach between $3 trillion and $4 trillion annually by the end of the decade. Nvidia reported fiscal Q2 2027 revenues of $96.2 billion, up 106% year-over-year, with $89 billion coming from data center operations alone. This growth is partly attributed to the death of Moore’s Law, pushing companies to purchase more specialized hardware rather than wait for next-generation silicon. Nvidia GPU pricing has risen from around $18,000 for Hopper to $25,000 for Blackwell and approximately $40,000 for the upcoming Vera Rubin platform. Hyperscalers are expected to increase their combined capital expenditures from roughly $800 billion in 2026 to approximately $1.3 trillion in 2027.
