Tech giants Nvidia and Cisco have confirmed multimillion-dollar donations to President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom renovation project. Nvidia and Apple each pledged 25 million dollars, representing the largest contributions among donors that collectively raised over 330 million dollars. Amazon, Palantir, ServiceNow, Meta Platforms and Microsoft were also among the major donors. The contributions were made through a nonprofit trust called the Donald J. Trump Ballroom. Lawmakers and experts have raised concerns about the potential influence these donations could have on policy decisions or federal contract awards.
