Nexo published the ‘The Future of Digital Wealth 2026’ report based on a survey of 1,000 affluent investors in the US, UK, and Argentina between February and March. Sixty-seven percent of respondents own crypto assets, but the average Crypto Integration Index score stands at just 4.83 out of 10, with only 4.7% reaching a structurally integrated level. Argentina shows the highest ownership rate (74%) but the lowest integration score (4.62), while the US, with the lowest ownership rate (62.3%), records the highest integration score (5.07). Practical factors such as asset substitution and retirement planning explain 54.2% of the variation in integration scores, compared to only 13.6% for risk perception. Among deeply integrated users, the cited barriers are security (36%), high fees (34%), and platform complexity (28%).
