Nasdaq wants to make crypto ETF options easier to launch — Here’s how!

Nasdaq has filed a proposal with the SEC to streamline the launch of options on crypto-backed ETFs. Under this plan, ETFs holding digital assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana could qualify for options listings through a standardized approval process instead of requiring individual approvals each time. The proposal comes as the CLARITY Act remains stalled in the US Senate. Meanwhile, institutional interest in Bitcoin shows no signs of slowing, with BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF recording net inflows over the last 24 hours, outweighing combined selling from Fidelity, ARK, and VanEck.
