Mubadala, Abu Dhabi AI company Inception42 and OpenAI have reportedly reached an agreement to apply AI to investment analysis and risk evaluation. None of the three parties has issued a formal public statement, however, and the financial terms, timeline and exact scope remain unclear. The partnership builds on several recent developments, including Inception42’s launches of the Insight and Alpha platforms and a memorandum of intent to deploy Catalyst across Mubadala companies and the Gulf Cooperation Council. MGX, an investment vehicle affiliated with Mubadala and G42, also co-led OpenAI’s $122 billion funding round in March 2026, valuing the company at $852 billion. OpenAI is reportedly discussing a further $30 billion round with UAE funds that could value it at between $1.25 trillion and $1.4 trillion, although those talks have not been confirmed.
