Morning Minute: Crypto Rebounds After The Fed’s First Hike Since 2023

The Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25 basis points on Wednesday to a target range of 3.75% to 4.00%, marking its first hike in over three years with a unanimous vote. Bitcoin briefly dipped then rebounded to around $76,400, while altcoins posted double-digit gains ranging from 12% to 15% for ZEC, NEAR, LIT, and VVV. The House of Representatives advanced the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve bill, authorizing the Treasury to establish it within 180 days. Circle’s Arc chain achieved over $400 million in volume on its debut day.
