Morgan Stanley maintains a positive outlook on gold over a 12-month horizon, despite the metal sliding toward a seven-week low this week. Amy Gower, head of metals and mining strategy at the bank, identified three factors that could support prices. Spot gold held near $4,176 on Thursday, following a sharp sell-off on Monday. The metal is down approximately 3.8% year-to-date.
