Monero (XMR) surged 13% in 24 hours, extending its bullish momentum from recent weeks. Between October 21 and 22, its open-interest-weighted funding rate rose from 0.0022% to 0.0480%, nearly 21.8 times its initial level. Open interest also climbed to roughly $371 million after increasing by more than $86 million. Retail activity became more prominent, while CoinMarketCap’s Sentiment indicator showed a modestly positive reading of 1.64 on a scale from -10 to 10. Liquidation clusters below the price nevertheless highlight the risk of forced selling if bullish momentum weakens while leveraged exposure remains elevated.
