Microsoft’s stock achieves longest winning streak of 2026 as AI fears fade

The commercial backlog reached a record $678 billion. Shares surged 15.51% in a single session, adding approximately $450 billion to the company’s market capitalization. Through August 28, the stock logged at least six consecutive days of gains, pushing the share price from $349 in June to around $513-514, a recovery of nearly 50%. A strategic partnership with HUMAIN, a Saudi entity focused on artificial intelligence, provided a fresh bullish catalyst in early August.
