Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, says Bitcoin passes what he calls the Bernard Arnault test, a rule that asks whether an asset will appeal to a wealthier, more cultured buyer in ten years. Strategy now holds 840,447 BTC at an average cost of $75,385 per coin, with a position slightly above water by approximately $1.6 billion in paper gains. Bitcoin traded near $77,313, roughly 39% below its record high of $126,080 set in October 2025. Saylor also sold 1,690 BTC on August 10, 2026 at $64,262 each to defend its STRC preferred shares, days before the market rally.
