Meta released Muse Spark Open, the first open-weight model in its Muse Spark series, on October 15, 2026. The multimodal model features 816 billion total parameters with 42 billion active, plus a 1 million token context window. It accepts images, video, and audio inputs and targets long-horizon agentic workflows, complex coding, and multi-step reasoning. Muse Spark Open is now live in Agent Arena and Code Arena for public testing with real-time scoring, and available through API providers including Baseten and Fireworks AI. Model weights can also be downloaded from Amazon SageMaker and Google Cloud Model Garden, with specific optimization for Apple silicon through the MLX framework.
