Maple has pledged roughly 225 million XRP, valued at $280.2 million, as collateral for loans issued from Ethereum pools on the XRP Ledger network. Three XRP-backed positions represent a notional principal of about $151.8 million in stablecoins, with maturities on December 4 and 12, 2026, and January 15, 2027. The displayed collateral ratios, ranging from 178.3% to 188.2%, could trigger margin calls if they fall without sufficient action, followed by authorized XRP sales after a 12-to-24-hour period. Loan renewals could sustain demand for XRP, while repayments followed by authorized releases would reduce the risk of liquidation. DefiLlama also valued total XRP Ledger decentralized finance at approximately $318 million, including $281.1 million attributed to Maple.
