Liverpool has decided not to offer Alisson Becker a new contract, with his current deal expiring in 2027. The Brazilian goalkeeper, who joined Liverpool from Roma in July 2018, has made over 330 appearances and helped the club win two Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy. Now 34 years old, Alisson’s recent seasons have been hampered by hamstring injuries. The club has already secured his replacement by signing Lucca Brughmans, a young Belgian goalkeeper from Genk, in a deal worth up to £30 million, expected to arrive in summer 2027. Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson have already left Anfield, while captain Virgil van Dijk’s contract also expires in 2027.
