Litecoin marked 15 years of uninterrupted operation since its 2011 genesis block, cementing its status as one of the most resilient blockchains. Grayscale’s head of research Zach Pandl publicly backed the asset, calling it an OG altcoin that has retained its fundamental value. The network processes around 156,000 transactions per day with an average fee of just $0.003, while its MWEB privacy pool has reached over 563,000 LTC. Grayscale filed an amended application in September to convert its Litecoin Trust into a spot ETF on NYSE Arca, with net assets of $97,560,938 and 24.25 million shares outstanding.
