The zkEVM Layer 2 network Linea has integrated into the newly restructured Consensys entity on September 9, 2026, alongside the now-separate MetaMask. Linea operates with full Ethereum equivalence, allowing existing smart contracts to run without modification. The protocol features a 20% ETH fee burn mechanism and launched its LINEA token in September 2025, with 85% of the supply allocated to the ecosystem. SharpLink Gaming plans a $200 million deployment of ETH on Linea to generate yields through ether.fi and EigenLayer, with custody handled by Anchorage.
