L’imad Holding, Abu Dhabi’s new sovereign investment platform, has made an offer of approximately $9 billion to acquire the publicly traded shares of AD Ports Group, representing roughly 25% of the company’s capital. The group already controls 75.42% of AD Ports through the absorption of ADQ, which was valued at $263 billion before the merger. If completed, the deal would remove one of the most prominent names from the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, effectively reversing the company’s 2022 privatization. The consolidated platform now manages assets worth approximately $300 billion.
