Ledger has launched Atom, an Android-based signer designed to work alongside your phone rather than replace it. The device resembles a standard Android phone dedicated exclusively to signing transactions. The announcement comes as Ledger grapples with a supply-chain attack in Southeast Asia linked to over $86 million in suspected crypto losses. Compromised devices sold through resellers including CryptoBilis contained hardware implants capable of reading recovery phrases and transmitting them over LTE. Ledger has suspended sales and shipments in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Hong Kong since mid-October 2026, without yet disclosing Atom’s specifications, pricing, or availability.
