Justin Sun secured a partial court victory in the United States, as a federal judge rejected World Liberty Financial’s attempt to move all of his claims into private arbitration. Sun’s individual claims will remain in the Northern District of California federal court, while other claims will be divided between litigation and arbitration proceedings. Sun invested 45 million dollars in the project and accuses it of fraud, particularly for using mechanisms in its smart contracts to freeze his WLFI tokens. He is seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages. World Liberty Financial has denied wrongdoing and separately sued Sun in Florida for defamation.
