Roughly 128,000 micro-dramas hit the market in the first quarter, with 95% AI-generated, underscoring the rapid adoption of AI tools in Chinese content production. Morgan Stanley and Citigroup analysts see significant growth potential for Chinese streaming platforms such as Mango and iQIYI amid rising AI-enabled competition and supportive regulation.
