Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan invests $10M as stock climbs 300%

Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan acquired 105,263 shares for approximately $10 million at $95 per share, bringing his total holdings to roughly 1.3 million shares, according to SEC filings. The purchase coincided with Intel’s $20 billion secondary equity offering at the same price, aimed at funding its expansion in AI chip manufacturing. The stock has surged between 270% and 315% over the past 12 months, rising from below $20 in late 2024 to $95. Q2 2026 results showed a 25% year-on-year revenue increase to $16.1 billion, beating earnings per share estimates.
