A post on X claimed that ICE, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, had partnered with Trade.xyz to offer perpetual futures in US markets. No official confirmation of such a deal has been found. Launched in October 2025 on Hyperliquid’s decentralized infrastructure, Trade.xyz says it has processed more than $500 billion in cumulative trading volume and offers contracts tied to the S&P 500, pre-IPO stocks, and commodities. Its daily volume reached multiple billions of dollars in late October 2026, while open interest in its S&P 500 contract peaked at approximately $450 million. Separately, ICE has announced a 50-50 joint venture with OKX to develop regulated US broker-dealer and futures commission merchant infrastructure.
