Pump.fun is set to dethrone Hyperliquid in monthly revenue for the first time in over a year. At the time of writing, Pump.fun reported $55.9 million in revenue compared to $49.6 million for Hyperliquid. The PUMP token surged approximately 105% in August, more than double HYPE’s 49% gain over the same period. This victory would end Hyperliquid’s 15-month streak of monthly dominance. However, Hyperliquid’s upcoming HIP-4 upgrade, which will introduce permissionless prediction markets, could allow the platform to regain the upper hand in the long term.
