Earnings season ramps up this week with four Club holdings set to report results. Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Bank of New York, and Johnson & Johnson will be among the major releases. Two inflation reports are also on the docket, with the consumer price index due Wednesday and the producer price index Thursday, in a market currently driven by elevated oil prices and higher bond yields. Economists expect headline CPI to rise 3.6% year-over-year and core CPI to increase 2.4%. The Federal Reserve is expected to hold rates steady in October with more than 80% probability, while still favoring one more rate hike this year in December.
