He challenges North Korean hackers with a CAPTCHA… then reports an attack

The X account @bread_ launched DPRKaptcha, a parody of verification tests that asks users to answer provocative questions about Kim Jong-un to prove they are not North Korean. Its creator reports that the site later received several million requests and experienced an interruption, but no independent analysis establishes whether this constituted a denial-of-service attack or identifies the perpetrators. There is no evidence linking the incident to Pyongyang or to North Korean retaliation. The episode follows a context of cybersecurity tensions, after the FBI attributed to North Korean actors the theft of more than six billion dollars from Binance on October 29 under the TraderTraitor designation.
