Harmony has launched a full network rollback that will erase billions of illegally minted ONE tokens from the chain’s history. The blockchain will be reset to its state on August 11 at 23:25 UTC, hours before the first attack. Approximately 4 billion tokens were created without authorization, increasing the supply by about 26%. The ONE token currently trades at roughly $0.00072, down 4% over 24 hours, with a market capitalization of about $10.6 million, placing it outside the top 1,000. Validators are preparing for the restart by loading clean replacement databases for both shards. Harmony considered softer solutions such as burning the fake tokens wallet by wallet or blacklisting, but chose the rollback as a uniform solution for everyone.
