Grayscale filed a proposal with the SEC on September 25 for a new product called ZCSH High-Income ETF, distinct from its existing Zcash ETF. The fund will generate income by selling call options linked to ZCSH and distribute returns on a biweekly basis, without directly holding ZEC. Zcash (ZEC) was trading at $1,532.82 at press time, up 200% year-to-date despite a 3.3% decline in the past 24 hours. Grayscale’s Zcash ETF reached $1 billion in assets under management on September 24, with only $306.12 million coming from cumulative net inflows, the rest reflecting appreciation of its existing ZEC holdings.
