OKX banned its Hong Kong employees from using Claude following a temporary suspension of its corporate account, while Goldman Sachs reduced access earlier in 2026 due to a contract dispute. The exchange spends 6 to 8 million dollars per month across multiple large language model providers. Despite these restrictions, Goldman Sachs continues its collaboration with Anthropic to build AI agents for trade accounting and client vetting.
