Goldman Sachs Alternatives led a $240 million Series E funding round for AI-native software delivery platform Harness, pushing the company’s valuation to $5.5 billion. Founded in 2017, the firm focuses on the outer loop of software engineering, including testing, security scanning, governance, and cost optimization, having processed 128 million deployments in the past 12 months. Its enterprise customers include United Airlines, Morningstar, Keller Williams, and National Australia Bank. Harness is projected to surpass $250 million in Annual Recurring Revenue in 2025 with over 50% year-over-year growth, serving more than 1,000 enterprise customers and employing 1,200 people. The $5.5 billion valuation translates to roughly 22 times projected 2025 ARR.
