General Atlantic, the $130 billion growth equity firm, has selected JPMorgan Chase to lead its renewed IPO push, with Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs also joining the deal. The New York-based firm had shelved its previous confidential filing from December 2023 due to market volatility. James Gorman, the former Morgan Stanley CEO, joined as an adviser in March 2025 to help steer preparations. The portfolio includes Anthropic, India’s PhonePe, and Mexico’s Banamex. The offering could potentially launch before the end of 2026.
