On Friday, October 30, the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Research will publish its first estimate of third-quarter GDP and household consumption for September at 7:30 a.m., followed by provisional October inflation and the flash estimate of payroll employment at 8:45 a.m. The institute and the Bank of France expect 0.1% growth in the third quarter, following a 0.2% contraction in the first quarter and stagnation in the second. Inflation reached 3.1% in September, while household confidence fell to 80 and the yield on the 10-year French government bond briefly exceeded 5%. The figures will shape the review of the 2027 budget, which includes a 31.4% tax on conversions of cryptocurrencies into stablecoins from January 1, 2027.
